street lights are light sensitive. If they receive enough light on top of them, they shut off. Basically, it's a solar powered relay switch.

This is true... but most people tend to walk under the lights, not over them.

My point was more a matter of happenstance, not to infer flight. And while light does generally travel in straight lines, it can also be both bent and reflected.

Look, I know my skin color is so light that it tans to white, but tend to doubt I'm quite that blindingly reflective!

Yeah... that's basically what the premise is, lol. I need to read the rest of their info., but if you just go to their main page, in relates a lot of their 'cause to "socially different" characteristics, lol. (At least, seems to, from what I've skimmed.)

I'm still more optimistically interested by it than pessimistically critical yet.

... Although I have to say that I'm not saying that I believe I'm an alien being. :P There is definitely something going on - and I can write more on my personal opinions of this, if you want me to, in a new entry - but I'm not too keen on labeling myself as an alien yet, lol.
I just thought we should all be clear on that, lolol.
