drift

Sep 24, 2008 13:20

drifting as we watch
the determined dark
shrowd the defenseless deep.

dormant it had been
during the dry balding desert day
until the devoted deciples of light
fell under the sundown.

now it finds itself
kindling the depilitating din
of the disturbed cicadas,
dispensing new endevours,
and dripping in the delight
that exudes from our abode
that dances in the trades
up top of fluid undulations.

spread far and wide as the eye can see
made me deaf, made me dumb
the devine sea
defiantly devoured me.
