The video roundup will be up tomorrow! As you might expect, there's rather a lot of Gumi songs to go through and it's taking a little time to do so. So to tide you over, here's the news:

- Vocaloid 3's finally out, of course. So far, it hasn't really changed the makeup of the top 100 - still lots of Miku, still lots of Gumi. Poor Luka's almost a shut-out, and the twins didn't show up much until a sudden rush in the last couple of days, but the overall state of things is currently fairly unchanged.

- There's now an English vocaloid channel on NicoNico! I've long since espoused the need for something like this - I consider it better than Mikubook as it's a more official-looking source for information, and they've got a rough and ready news feed up there as well that put up some very up to date videos. So, overall: pretty great. It would be even better if they got someone to translate properly rather than what looks like scrappy machine-translated English, though...

- Iroha's birthday happened on October 22nd. No-one noticed, because of Vocaloid 3.

- 1st Place have put up a site for their V3 soundbank sourced from Lia's voice. On it you can see a minute long trailer video which contains a grand total of about two seconds of very masked voice.

- Voctrolabs have put up a number of demo videos for their Spanish-speaking Vocaloids, Bruno and Clara. I don't know the language so I don't know how accurate they are, but I am pretty blown away by how they sound; these might be the best demos I've ever heard outside of Crypton/Internet/Yamaha, but it would be great if Bruno would, er, stop staring at me...

- Tone Rion, the Vocaloid unveiled during the Vocaloid 3 live from company Moe Japan*, has a site up including design and information on the character and oh my I don't like it one bit. Her voice seems clogged and her design's trying to hit about ten different cliches at once, and that all just makes me very cynical about her. I don't see huge complex designs and a glut of character information as being helpful to a Vocaloid's popularity - rather, I think it's likely to prevent producers and fans from coming up with their own themes on the design.

* No, I'm really not kidding about the name.

- SeeU's fourth, fifth, and sixth demo videos have come out, with varying success. My favorite is totally the fifth for the big band. I think it's safe to assume at this point that SeeU's intended to basically be the Korean answer to Miku - the range of styles being shown in her demo songs and the amount of support she's getting is way and above most other new robots.

- One youtube user got the entire Miku@MIT talk down on camera, so good work that person.

- The i-style Project continues to do... ... something. I'm still not sure what, but at least part of it is based around trending on Twitter to try to win an Aoki Lapis cushion. You see why I am a little cynical about new Vocaloid companies just wanting to get a piece of the popularity pie?

- Project Diva Extend is out in just two weeks! Are you excited? I'm excited.

- Also this is totally off-topic but there's liable to be some overlap: Noitanima's Black Rock Shooter anime, to come out the start of next year, just got a great new trailer up... and it looks like the canon is about to get yet another retcon as suddenly everyone is years younger and I guess Dead Master has glasses now and might not even be an antagonist?

give all your money to korea, project diva extend, new blood, black★rock retcon, vocaloid: clara, give all your money to sega, vocaloid: nekomura iroha, vocaloid: tone rion, don't give money to moe, vocaloid: seeu, vocaloid: aoki lapis, dar todo su dinero a voctro, vocaloid: bruno, vocaloid: ia, news, give all your money to everyone
