Everyone's Vocaloid Winners Announced: Welcome Suzune Ring and Hibiki Lui

Didn't see a post for this yet so I thought I'd step in. In the end, we get another shota and what looks like a PV-specific Miku. :/
What annoys me is the original submitted designs are quite good (particularly Ring's), and although they didn't change Lui too much at least, I honestly have no idea why the felt the need to Mikufy Ring.
Ring is going to be voiced by MiKA (from DaisyxDaisy, there's a link to one of her Fairy Tail songs on vocaloidism.) Listening to her song, she could end up sounding like Lily, it's a bit early to tell.
SO what are you guys' thoughts? Disappointment? Cautious optimism? Happiness? Hope?
Personally I do try to stay cautiously optimistic about all newcomers in the hopes that they could be something special, but man the redesigns (particularly Ring's) bug me a lot. :/
