I really hope he has some recourse in this--like you said above, ugh, it's gotta be hard fighting a ~huge pop sensation~, but this just sucks.

Personally, I don't think his reaction's that odd; it's gotta be upsetting, and maybe he just had a moment of "fuck it, what's the point" or something along those lines. That's how I'd feel, I think, if I made a song that a pop act ripped off to make a hit single.

Yeah, I def. think it was a "heat of the moment" decision, too, especially given how much he apologized in the post. And like... lol, I don't think he even explicitly stated this was the reason for the deletion in the post itself? Just "kay storytime kids" but I automatically interpreted it as such.

Siiiiigh.

Someone on his blog suggests going to KarenT, since they're the official Crypton album guys and they're probably his best legal defence. I can't think of a better option to reinforce his chances.
