Short-ish post today. I think I've decided that I quite like mid-to-endweek for updates - it nets me a nice balance between harvesting the big songs from the ranking, and giving you the best of the Monday to Wednesday new song rush before the next ranking has the chance to. In this way I get to be petty and jealous and you get the newer songs

Oh ho ho. My friend and I went to the last screening in San Francisco, and now we're going again. xD If only to see the creator of Hatsune Miku. e_e! We're also hastily throwing together our Matryoshka cosplay to wear to the movie. rofl.

How many songs did they show? I remember thinking it could potentially just be something short like 'here's Miku okay bye' because no-one ever pointed out... what the length of her set was likely to be.

I can't remember, though you can look it up. It was just a DVD recording of the 39's Giving Day Concert back in Tokyo, so the entire thing lasted a couple hours.

Oh, that'd make sense. It's nice to see they did more than 'here's a couple songs oh god we're sorry RUN!'

Some people actually brought light sticks to wave during the screening. My friend and I were envious, although the effect wasn't as great with only a few people out of the entire group. (And I think someone in the back even called them "nerds", I sadfaced.)

You've got to plan these things properly. By, say, turning up with rhymed in tow, so that she can yell at the end of the convention panel and leap across chairs while you casually bury your face and wish you were dead.

... to anyone reading this who happened to be at Sakuracon's vocaloid panel I'm very, very sorry. We were kind of constantly kibitzing and particularly insufferable when they played the nicomedley.
