KIIIITAAAAAAAAAAAAAA--!! MMD 5TH CUP!
It's here, MMD 5th Cup! I've removed the mini-post below so they're all in one convenient place for your viewing delectation.
With that, let's go! Four categories - My absolute favorites, Music videos, Other (Mostly Robots), and Other (Other). Descriptions will be very loose and fast in most cases, as I don't want to spoil the videos too badly. Generally speaking, many of the more impressive videos this Cup concentrated on pushing the boundaries of MMD technically speaking, with a lot of particle physics and mobs of characters on screen at once.

A Little Less Conversation - The animation's fuzzy, it takes a minute to get anywhere, but even so I love this video. Hold out until the music for every MMD model there ever was (including a bunch of Engloids I'd never seen before) pull off this classic hit.

Ding-Dong - Some delightful jazz from Luka and a very good MMD-Band Edition showing from the entire rest of the cast. Not heavy on the dance, but definitely so on the style.

Happy Trigger Happy - Maigoddo pulls through yet again with a hard-hitting, punchy rock and rap track. Oozing quality, you surely know what to expect by now.

Kimi ni Shiranai Monogatari - Gumi's making moony eyes at Kaito, the stars, the horizon, and anything else she can get her hands on in this video for one of Gumi's most famous covers.

Rolling Girl - A step-perfect recreation of the Rolling Girl video using Lat Miku and a model that looks very much like a cross between Kaito and the Persona 3 main character.

Magical Lyric - I'm... I'm not really sure you've got this '3D' thing quite figured out, man. Can't deny it's super adorable and a really neat style, though, especially when everyone else pops up.

BREEZE [Full Dance Ver.] - On the one hand, the animation's gorgeous and the sheer range of characters is great. Luka looks surprisingly realistic... on the other hand, not nearly realistic enough, we're way into Uncanny Valley territory here.

This manip of the K-On second season opening to sneak Miku in there is far better than it has any right to be, beating out any of the photomanipulation stuff this MMD Cup.

As the title says, quite literally: Lemmings descend upon the Vocaloid house, alternately tearing it up, building over it, or exploding within it. Silly, but glorious.

You can't go through an MMD cup without a Neru/Len video, especially as Neru is the de facto mascot of the Cup - except that usually Neru is not an assassin sent from outer space by Master Asia to kill all the Vocaloids.

Not quite sure how to classify this, except possibly 'Rez crossed with Mirror's Edge', as Miku and Shiteyanyo dive, leap and colour in a futuristic landscape then set up for the big finish.

A suitably ridiculous post to end off on, you'll want to turn your sound down for this. Remember the 4-stage meme of characters diving through a box Maru-style? That, done with high-res models of the entire Touhou cast and a bunch of in-references, and a Japanese auto-tuned guy screaming each of their names in turn as they do!!!! Somehow compelling.
And Finally...
I mentioned at the top that the main theme of this Cup's entries involved pushing the processing power of MMD. No video demonstrates this better than this entry, which pushes the hardware to manipulate tens of thousands of little boxes into amazing boxel art. I can't imagine how much work this took.
