The Kai/Mei one is also worth watching. Meiko's such a HBIC, I love it.

Unfortunately, while looking at magnet Project Diva stuff... I found this.

Oh god uncanny valley.

The things I linked to are vids accusing Yunomi-P of tracing and using stock art without paying for it. Some of them are a bit of a stretch but the similarity in some of the others make me very uncomfortable. And heartbroken. orz

I'd roughly heard about that, yeah. Some of them are really... kind of out there. I mean, a photo of an iPod? Or generic 'dude sitting in chair' postures? I have a hard time believing you can really trace those to one specific stock image when a lot of them are cliche / very standard romantic tropes, but on the other hand many of those are really dodgy. On the other other hand I don't expect every artist to come up with a new and original pose every single piece of work they do. Basically, this is why I don't draw.

It doesn't have to be directly traced (though a bunch of those looked like it), poses being lifted off like that is bad enough that her videos and stuff are going to get deleted. Especially if they were from stock photo sites.

Plagiarism is srs bsns.

... on the other hand, this gives a whole new twist to the incident with that person who tried to impersonate her on DA. s-siiiigh.

Yeah, it's certainly fair enough to kill a bunch of her stuff based off plagarism, I just-- am kind of envisioning this dystopian future horror story. 'The Day Humanity Ran Out Of Poses'. Suddenly, lawsuits everywhere.

IT'S NOT SO MUCH THE POSE AS... like. There's only so many ways in which you can draw a guy sitting, but things like angles/hand placement/posture/etc, YOU COULD HAVE SO MANY VARIATIONS w-why go for the obvious. YOU'RE ONLY SUPPOSED TO DO THAT FOR PRACTICE /)_(\

Surely if you sit in an armchair your hand is liable to rest in a given (common) manner, though. I don't necessarily mean in terms of many of these pictures, but just in general, it's a little hard to wrap my head around.

I really don't want to believe this because I love her. A lot. In fact, idolize is probably a better term for it. I mean, when JBF came out, I spent like 15-30 minutes pausing at just the right moments so I can screencap the part where Luka shows up in all these gorgeous outfits and icon them and then fangirl her. Jjjjjust saw the Magnet / TurnA Gundam thing. I have to wonder what'll happen to the Magnet CD off the back of that.

Eh, wasn't the CD cover has different artwork?

Ah, the guitar one is that EXIT TUNES Utattemita CD cover... I wonder what EXIT TUNES will do about that...

The guitar one might be along the same lines as the iPod one, if the casing is the 'default' - i.e. 'how else do you expect someone to draw an actual model of guitar'.

I'd forgotten the magnet CD had different art, though, I hope that isn't tagged as well because that would be ridiculously bad for the general perception of the music given it's arguably the most public-facing bit.
