I was actually kind of grumpy when I saw this rank higher than the new Synchronicity video in the ranking last week, but as soon as I saw it was Mothy/Aku No P's work I knew there had to be a valid reason behind it. AND THERE WAS, INDEED. A bittersweet love song that would seem like your typical yandeloid song EXCEPT NOT. It's really sad, beautiful, the art in the video is wonderful, and Mothy's tuning of Luka is a treat to hear. BOY, I THINK I HAVE A NEW FAVORITE SONG.

LOVE ATOMIC TRANSFER
【初音ミク】ラブアトミック・トランスファー【オリジナル曲】
We have a yandere song, so we need to balance it out with some tsundere. This is my other favorite song this update -- NOT ONLY BECAUSE OF MY OBVIOUS BIASES but because the bass line is pretty awesome and the piano... even if really freaking loud, is also greatly enjoyable (enough that it might even ping Certain People, I'd say). Just your typical "GOD DO YOU LOVE ME DO YOU HATE ME WHAT IS IT?!?!?" tsundere song.
「FATE：REBIRTH」 [DASOKU X RISEHA X POKOTA]
「Fate：Rebirth」歌ってみた【蛇足×りせは×ぽこた】
We were all hoping with baited breath for a Clear/Dasoku/Valshe cover, but instead we got... Double Gakupo. Dasoku basically betrayed us and went and did Kaito (yes, Kaito) for this version. It's... not bad, but different. Pokota is good at playing Sex God Gakupo and Riseha's Len is spot-on, but there's still something missing. IT'S OKAY DASOKU, WE STILL LOVE YOU BECAUSE YOU'RE STUPIDLY ADORABLE.
SPiCa + Melt MASHUP
【SPiCa】と【メルト】を混ぜてみました。acane_madder ver.
I found this while looking at Acane Madder's mylist back when she did Campanella and totally fell in love. It is just what the title says, a mashup of a classic and a recent hit that meshes both songs in such an awesome way that you could totally believe it's a new song altogether... except for when you catch yourself singing along at bits and being very confused when it swaps back to the other song. Wow that was a huge run-on sentence.

Choucho's singing here is beautiful as always... up to the chorus. DON'T GET ME WRONG, I am a big fan of hers, but I also have a Thing with sasakure.UK's songs that... because of the way he usually tunes the robots and because of his songs' sound I tend to be really iffy on humans singing them unless they have like a fuckton filters on them -- which is the case in most of the song here! But for some reason the chorus just doesn't cut it out for me. STILL, I know other people aren't as picky when it comes to these things, so you should check this out, also because of [TEST]'s mad guitar skills.

鏡音レンオリジナル曲 「マジカル☆ぬこレンレン」
In this song Owata-P is basically a terrible person and tortures Len in the completely-non-lethal-yet-infinitely-more-embarrassing-way-nya. Some Japanese knowledge is recommended to get the full horribleness of it. ... Why don't we have a "Len's life is pain" tag yet?

ACUTE [CLEAR X WOTAMIN X SERIYU]
ACUTEを歌ってみた【clear×ヲタみん×セリユ】
I went from "OH GOD ABOUT TIME" to "NOOOO CLEAR NOT THAT VIBRATO AGAIN" in the span of one minute, I think. That aside, it's a nice cover of the ice boat song, all of the singers' voices are strong as usual, and for a change the mix does not completely suck (I kid you not, all ACUTE covers I've heard always have one of the singers at a complete different volume and it is so annoying). Even so, I think I am now far too used to the Tolie/Usa/Yamai version to properly appreciate this. :( I CAN HEAR YOU LAUGHING theatrically, SHUT UP.
