Randomness
So...it's been a little while since I've updated, thought I'd do it. I've really not been into a whole lot here lately, and it sucks. Been doin mostly yard work for dad, which I'm still not finished doing. Haha
Have you ever sit down and realized...holy crap...It's almost time to become completely independent? I've waited years for it, but now that it's closer, I wouldn't mind having some of it back. Dad' retires in September...bye bye money source! haha It's not that I'm too lazy to get a job, I honestly just couldn't balance one last year with my school, the operas, and the overwhelming stress of Mom's cancer mess. But now that he's retiring, I'm gonna have to. I don't mind....it's about time anyway. Man that sounds so Laguna Beach...but trust me, I'm no snobby rich kid....far from it...not even near being rich... lol Another thing I noticed...the 'rents are turning our "den" into the kitchen because its right next to the kitchen and its a very large room. That is my favorite room in the house, at least for movie watching...etc. It's changing! Good sign I need to move out, when things start changing. =) Nah I just really want to get my own place...or at least with a friend...most likely w/ Shane since I'd have to live in Tennessee obviously. Other than all that, life's been good. Confusing...but good. For once, I actually can't wait to get back to school...minus the class part. I'm so excited about my new on campus...cheap....but spacious apartment! haha its not big deal but a lot nicer than a dorm room. I'm also excited about seeing my friends again. I'm gonna work this year on becoming more out there...my last year sucked...cause with mom's ordeal running through my head...I sheltered myself away from everything, and I regret it now. I just wanted to be alone, but now that everything is ok...I wanna make up for it.
