Time Warp
Let me tell you something. Those of you who are in school or have jobs you get to go to, you are so lucky. My life has been very strange lately because of these unrelenting hurricanes. I don't get to go to work because it is broken, for lack of a better word. I'm so tired of all of this. I don't even know what day it is. FUCK!
Besides all the crap, some good has taken place. I really enjoy being around lynsey. So pretty much anytime i get to be with her is good. ::sigh:: Umm what else. Oh! So lately i've been trying to decide whether or not to do winter guard this year. and if so what guard to audition for. Amanda, my friend and mentor who's been there teaching me since i was in 8th grade, wants me to spin for the Knights who she's spun for forever, or Farenheit a fairly young but sucessful independent guard who has been practicly begging me to come out for their auditions. So long story short i went to the Farenheit camp this weekend scared of rejection and full of inhibitions. I'm in! We've already got the first minute of the show down. It is going to be so awesome! I'm extremely sore right now but i'm SOOOOO excited about it. There are a few hott chicks in the guard. Its so great to be one of 2 straight guys out of like 9 guys in a guard full of girls. yay me.
So after i got out of practice sat. night i wanted to go to the C-high football game to see the half time show. Unfortunately i didn't get there until the 4th quarter. But the band sounded really good. Unorganized most of time but when they pulled it together... man... the alma mater sounded awesome. Except for a few wrong notes in the TUBA SECTION! grrrrrr oh well.
So on sunday was day 2 of Farenheit practice, more fun and dancing. i've never danced so much in my life. It was great except for i'm really sore... yikes...
