I'm tired of using this icon
Melissa Compton died this morning at 3:35, according to her mother.
She's no longer in pain, but her family certainly is. Her parents, Mike and Amy Wood; her sister Amanda, and Amanda's two boys; and especially Marjorie and Amy Marie (ages 3 and 2) will need all the prayers for strength they can get.
It will be 3 months ago tomorrow since Dad died. This has been the school year of death. Michele's husband and mom, Matt's cousin, Dad, Aunt Lynann, Aunt Bev, now Melissa Compton.
I know that we will see them again. I'm sure there must be some Grand Lesson to be taught in the separation that death brings. Don't care what it is right now, thanks, I'm just sick of people dying - especially young mothers, whose babies are only 2 and 3.
Those poor baby girls have lost their baby brother, their daddy, and now their mommy, just since November. Every life has its share of tragedy, but good grief. Three tragedies in less than a year? When they're not even in school yet? This is proof that life is absolutely not fair, and can't be fair while Satan is allowed to roam the earth and spread his unseen influence hither and yon.
The sooner Christ comes back and Satan is chained, the better.
