sometimes it snows in belfast
like maybe once every few years. and by snow i mean SNOW. not shit that melts in the span of a couple hours.
well...imagine my surprise when i was on the bus from dublin to belfast and well....i thought maybe it snowed a little cuz there was some on the ground and the trees. NO NO. omg....never come back to belfast when it snows. you will NEVER get a cab! aaaaand they have no removal equipment so i dragged my bag along the sidewalk and it got all covered in slush cuz it wasn't removed.
this is AFTER...
- being on a plane for over 6 hours either beside or in close proximity to someone who was CONSTANTLY farting (i wanted to die)
- being (of course) flirted with by security at the paris airport and the dude pretty well made me talk to him in french because my passport was canadian (at friggin 6am!)....it was funny haha i spoke the shittiest ever
- being on a 3 hour bus ride from dublin to belfast surrounded by an english family who...upon seeing the semi-light snow their children started asking 'daddy...are we going to be able to get home?' ...i wanted to slap them
now...the funniest part was seeing cars abandoned on the side of the road. seriously. HAHAHAAHA!! i mean..it was a lot of snow for belfast...but NOTHING really.
time to head to the black box to see foy vance and laugh at all the people who don't have clothes for actual freezing temperatures/are falling in the street. wooo!
