on the road again
so i've been in belfast since thursday and it's been AMAZING. i love it here. got in on thursday and met with the Northern Ireland Music Industry Commission on friday. then sat and sunday was down in the south in Carrick-on-Shannon for a festival Eoghan was playing. absolutely deadly weekend...but soooo many drinks sat night and consequently i am ill now from lack of sleep and constant moving around. it's my 'move to a new country' cold. i always get it about a week in. hope i'm better by thursday though because i have another tentative meeting with a promo company. i feel like i'm doing a lot but we'll see if i actually land a paying job soon. if i've got nothing by next week i'll need to go to an agency.
moving into my new house today! i'll be living with 2 girls at the moment (one is actually from NIMIC so we are basically gonna take over the live music industry together! hehe) but there is another room but who knows if and when someone will move in. all i know is it's a NICE house. and it's in a good neighborhood and uber cheap compared to london. and the girls are lovely and clean and laid back. yayy!!
i think that's all to report so far. hopefully by this time next week i'll have wireless internet at home! yayyyy!!!
