i'm currently listening to avril lavigne's new album (it's not out yet but it's available for streaming on msn)
i have to say....i always thought her strongest songs were the slower ones where she actually forgets her "punkness" and just shows she can convey emotion in her voice. of what i've heard so far, i like 'when you're gone' best. her single 'girlfriend' is catchy but OH SO MEAN. i mean really...should we be teaching 15 year old girls to be even MORE catty and steal each other's boyfriends?
ohhh it was soooo warm today! i wanted to go play in a park after work....but there are no real parks around here (just strips of grass..ugh..) and i had to get back here to do laundry cuz really...couldn't have functioned tomorrow if i hadn't done it.
was supposed to be at incubus tonight..but they rescheduled their whole tour and the new dates are in september. apparently their guitarist broke his hand or something. can't complain about something like that...that's a legit reason to cancel a tour.
better get the clothes. don't think i have the energy to fold them tonight...but maybe tomorrow? haha. i'm feeling better though. sooooo glad about that! my allergies are in full swing though. boourns to that. but at least i can keep those under control.
