As for Pirates (and it's Penzance), there is a film that was made of it which is a lot of fun to watch (it's Gilbert and Sullivan... what's not to like?) There was a production done this past August in Binghamton by the local Gilbert & Sullivan group - the longest running in the nation! Sold out every night.
Check out this link. Under Pirates, there are some links, one of which is an online version that you can download (midi, but it's better than nothing). It also gives a synopsis. Also, check out the music stores and grab either a CD or cassette to listen too. You might be able to find a cheap version (it's classical, so sometimes the price is cheaper than pop without sacrificing quality, but not always). Check out the listening libraries at Hartwick and SUCO too. Someone has to have a copy of that around Oneonta. I could sing part of the music to you, but only one part at a time, so that doesn't help :P
