Angry Rant...
This angry rant is dedicated to the less than awesome driver ahead of me this morning, and is a precautionary tale for everyone else now that hunting season is upon us here in the wasteland of BFE.
Thank you to the dickhead in the black Silvarado for testing my reflexes this morning. Dick. You damn near caused an accident when you spied with your less than awesome eyes, a pair of deer in the CRP and just *HAD* to slam on the brakes and whip out the old field glasses - in the middle of Highway 18.
I know how worried you were about the other drivers around you by the way that you kept your less than awesome eyes on the deer instead of the mayhem that you caused. So I just wanted to let you know that I'm all right, I took the shoulder to avoid getting rear-ended by a semi.
And that loud noise you heard that scared the deer back towards the river? Was the sound of the brakes locking up on the semi and the driver's use of his fabulous air horn.
I hope, when you're given the opportunity to get into the field or woods or your less than awesome tree stand, and you raise your shiny rifle or bow to take that shot, my hope is that your sights are permanently misaligned and you miss - all season.
