The heat has broken and the days are cool and fresh. I can breathe! My landlords put out a call for everyone to test their heaters and the burning dust and pollen in my apt set off the smoke detector. Cough! They changed the filters twice over the summer but the airborne gunk was especially bad this year.

I'm decorating for Halloween this very night. My season has arrived! .
