It is a cold and stormy night. The rain is pouring down in Cliffside Town. For some reason, the local townsfolk are all sitting in thier homes tonight behind the relative safety of their locked doors.
There is a flash of Lightning and across the horizon of the edge of town there is a group of people with the type of looks on their faces that would suggest that someone is gonna get a lynchin'! They are mostly made up of holy men by the looks of them.
Just in front of them, seemingly running from them, there are 3 people. A family by the looks of 'em. They run to the hotel and trying to seem calm but clearly spooked and sopping wet they ask the man behind the counter which room the priest with the alcohol problem is staying in.
The priest angrily goes to the door which is being thumped by what sounds like the hordes of hell itself but is distracted by a horrible feeling. That of some serious miracle working taking place outside the window. He goes to it, all the while somebody is banging the door. He gets to the window and what he sees makes his hand instinctively reach out for his bottle of whisky. He gulps and then his head spins to the door as he hears a familiar male voice shout :
"Open the fuckin' door Father!" , "We got trouble on our heels and it ain't gonna wait for you to open the fuckin' door!"
"They're back" he says to himself quietly. That was the last thing he heard for a while as the explosion from outside left a ringing in his ears but that didn't seem to matter as much as the wet red stuff pouring down the side of his head as he picked himself up from the floor........
