Earl Woods is gone.
To me, he was like a real-life Heathcliff Huxtable- he fathered all of us while parenting one of us. If we thank the Lord for Tiger, and I do, for all he is, all he stands for, and all that we hope he will become, we must also look to his source- the incomparable Earl.
I am very sorry for the Woods family. I hope Tiger has the strength to carry on with living the lessons his dad taught him, and passing those lessons down through the generations.
Earl, you were a good brotha. One of the best. We'll take care of Tiger now. He's too important to us to let him flounder. Sleep now, and know peace.
