Working life

I don't know why offices in Singapore insist on having the air conditioning on ridiculously low temperatures. When it is 35 degrees outside and the temperature inside the office is 22 degrees it really screws you up. Even better is the fact that the air-conditioning is centralised so I can't turn it up. I have a woollen cardigan which I wear EVERY day in my office. I suppose that is the sacrifice you have to make for having a job and paying virtually no tax. On the positive side I will be well acclimatised for my visit to Auckland in September. In other positives I have a pager and a cool name stamp (but I am struggling to resist the urge to stamp my name over everything!).

I am counting down the days to margaritas and shopping in KL...
