Ingrid Michaelson, Die Alone, because of:

I never thought I could love anyone / but myself / now I know I can't love anyone / but you / you make me think that maybe i won't die alone

and

kiss the boys as they walk by / call me their baby / but little do they know / i'm just a maybe / maybe by baby will be the one to leave me sore / maybe my baby will settle the score

This is probs a super cliché choice, but Florence and the Machine, What the Water Gave Me, because of:

and time goes quicker/ between the two of us / oh, my love, don't forsake me / take what the water gave me

and

'cause they took your loved ones / but returned them in exchange for you / but would you have it any other way?

and also

but oh, my love, don't forget me / when i let the water take me

Aww, that is a good one. I actually associate Dark Paradise with another ship, but I can see how it would fit Finnick/Annie.

For M/M it'd have to be Hardest of Hearts, lol. I think that's been my song for them since I saw that video. Just because of:

there is love in your body / but you can't hold it in / it pours from your eyes / and spills from your skin / tenderest touch leaves the darkest of marks / and the kindest of kisses break the hardest of hearts

and

there is love in your body / but you can't get it out / it gets stuck in your head / won't come out of your mouth / sticks to your tongue and it shows on your face / that the sweetest of words have the bitterest taste

and of course

darling heart, i loved you from the start / but you'll never know what a fool i've been

(Lol at first I thought you meant Mike/Rachel on Glee and I was like...I do not ship them at all.) The song I associate most with Mike/Rachel is probably I Would Do Anything for You by Foster the People, because of:

i'll be your listening ear / to everything you say, i won't turn away / and i'll listen / open up my heart and i must say / that i love you

and

ooh la love / i'm fallin' in love / and it's better this time / than i've ever known

also

everyday is a battle i face / it's a strange life i live / but it's what you decided / i give it all into your hands / do what you will / with me / and i'll, i'll smile when you speak / remember all those times i was hopin' for somethin' / and shaking my head from all i've done / but you never left me

I have two for Serena, lol. First is Lana Del Rey's Kinda Outta Luck. Her whole album kind of screams Serena to me, but this song in particular because of:

i was born bad / but then i met you / you made me nice for a while / but my dark side's true, which fits with canon because it reminds me of her relationship with Dan

and then also

femme fatale, always on the run / diamonds on my wrists / whiskey on my tongue

and

my daddy's in the trunk of his brand new truck / i really want him back / but i'm kinda outta luck

and

babe you can see that i'm danger / glamorous but i'm deranged, yeah / teetering off of the stage, yeah / if i said it really nice, hey, could you be my saviour?

And for the past few months Ed Sheeran's The A Team has been my Serena song, because of:

stuck in her daydream / been this way since eighteen / but lately, her face seems / slowly sinking, wasting

and

the worst things in life come free to us / 'cause we're just under the upper hand / go mad for a couple grams / and she don't want to go outside ( ... )

The song I associate most with S/B is Cheryl Cole, Parachute, because of:

i don't tell anyone about the way you hold my hand / i don't tell anyone about the things that we have planned / i won't tell anybody / won't tell anybody / they want to push me down, they want to see you fall down

and

i don't need a parachute, baby, if i've got you

also

don't believe the things you tell yourself so late at night and / you are your own worst enemy, you'll never win the fight/ just hold onto me / i'll hold onto you / it's you and me up against the world / it's you and me

My Quinn Fabray song is Maroon 5's She Will Be Loved. I'm sure that's a very typical choice and I know that a lot of people insist this is "the" song for whatever ship they ship, but it's such a Quinn song to me. Or maybe a Puck/Quinn song.

beauty queen of only eighteen, she had some trouble with herself / he was always there to help her, she always belonged to someone else

and

look for the girl with the broken smile / ask her if she wants to stay a while / and she will be loved

also

i know where you hide / alone in your car
