(no subject)
Last night was sooooooooo awesome!! Today couldn't possibly compare, but it was still all right. Well here's what happened last night.
I wasn't sure if the plans that my friends made at school were going to work out because no one ever called me and Katie's practice ran longer than she thought. Then I talked to her mom and she was supposed to give me a ride there (since it was raining so hard), but Katie called around 6ish and no one heard the phone ring so she went and then I called her and they were all already there and all, so my grandmom drove me over. It was Katie, Taryn, Kevin, Dave and Tyler (who I had just met that night) and me of course. I got there like 5 minutes before they got their food... (Niccceeee... I know...) So, I had already eaten, (well kinda) so I didn't get anything but a soda and then they finished and we left.
I thought, because they were all going to Tyler's house (and I had just met Tyler that night) that I would just call my grandmom to go home, but they had invited me to go with them. So I did, and it was POURING outside... So we started walking and then Kevin walked off for a little and suddenly he shows up again and we're still walking. Taryn and I end up like running around and jumping in puddles the size of like the frickin' Mississippi River! So by the time we got to Tyler's house we were SOAKED! I ended up slipping and sliding across the lawn (not on purpose) but later, Katie, Taryn, and I did it just for the hell of it and we got muddy and soggy and disgusting. Then Kevin had to go, and Tyler got us towels. Each of us (the girls) took a turn going to the bathroom and changing into some of Tyler's dry stuff (tee shirt and khakis for me). And I still felt disgusting though. Then we stuck all our nasty stuff into the washer and dryer and Megan showed up and then we were watching Mr. Deeds, giving each other back-rubs, watching One Tree Hill, and talking randomly. Anyways, we left around 9:30 and Katie's mom drove me home. I had an AWESOME night though! It was sooooooooooo much funnn!!!
Today was pretty uneventful. Just school, boring ol' school... you know how it is. I brought in the picture of Aaron, Mike, and Mr. Busch and if you saw it you know why I said it was funny. Health was pretty funny.. but it's too long to explain, so you'll just have to take my word for it. All you have to know is that it involves chalk, running, immature boys, and a competitive game between guys and girls. I think you'd get an idea. Anyways, I have a 97.7% average in my Algebra class so I'm VERY happy. That just like made my whole day! So, then there wasn't anything too special that happened in my other classes until around 8th period, I was sitting with my friends at their lunch table and Katie was sharing her seat with me and Kevin kinda pushed her a little and I fell outta the chair... that was interesting. So then, French was pretty boring, and Bio had to be even worse. That about sums up my day.
Overall, I'm in a pretty good mood and I've become a lot less lonely since I started hanging out with the people I do hang out with now. Well, the people from school I mean (I OF COURSE miss my NJ friends) But I'm happy I'm getting to hang out with people out here more, than wishing I were back in NJ, because it isn't going to happen. So why not just take what you have and make the best out of it, right? :) Plus, I've met GREAT people so far, most of 'em are all so nice to me and it's great!
