ok, so this is waaaay too hilarious not to write about....
i literally have 10 min to change out of my leotard and get ready for rehearsal right now, but, a few minutes ago, i had this sudden urge to listen to celine dion, "it's all coming back to me now." soo, ania and i broke out the spirit fingers and started dancing up and down the hallway while blasting some classic celine.... her music is so ridiculously overdramatic that you can't help but laugh... and it makes me wonder how i listened to these songs when i was younger w/o cracking up every time.... but anyways, i was trying to relate to the song, cuz i've always understood it, but never really experienced a moment like the one she is singing about.. and then i remembered this guy i met last year, who i shared some great weeks with, even tho it all ended rather quickly... and i had forgotten how much i was/am attracted to him, until i saw him this fall (for the first time in several months) and he gave me a lovely embrace...mmm he gives such good hugs ... so, ania and i decided to portray life as a musical, a celine dion musical if you will (LOL), and we thought up a scene that would have occurred right after the hug.
it goes something like this:
i break out a microphone and enter with "baby, baby, baby, when you touch me like this, and when you hold me like that.." and as i'm singing, i stand up, move away from my seat and walk towards him. after serenading him face to face for a while, i back up, get on the table (at the climax/highnote of the song) and my other friends (who were there at the time) put down their work, throw up their hands, and instantly transform into my backup singers/chorus... then, at the part of the song that goes, "with the slamming of the door" (and you hear a really corny door slamming sound) one of my guy friends runs down the hallway and dramatically closes the door (keep in mind, this is all happening in a lecture building on central. lol) and then i finish the song and everyone goes back to their business... like nothing ever happened.. a random song outburst in the musical of sara's life.....

life is absolutely fantastic right now!! soo many awesome things have been happening in these past couple of weeks and in the final days of summer....i haven't written an lj in a looooong time... cuz i've been too busy living life to write about it ;) but, a short synopsis will be coming soon... for records sake... so i can look back on this amazing journey that is "the college years" when i'm old and gray, and still singing along to celine dion songs lol
