hmm a few things i wanted to note about the end of the year that i never got the chance to mention.... amongst the craziness of finals and moving and all...
-easter vigil...i have never been so moved by a mass before...St. Matthews is one of the few remaining catholic churches to celebrate high mass... it was 3 hours long, i kid you not... it was a candlight vigil...the symbolism of it all...it left me speechless... with tears...that hasn't happened in quite a while...
-carpooling to detroit with the choir crew for the easter rehearsals and gigs...dan, jenna, richie, john, gab.. impossible not to luv 'em...oh and not to forget the debates during the car rides to and from...haha wow i have never seen john so worked up...
-salsa dancing with the girls.....it was so great!!! i felt like the girl in dirty dancing havanah nights...everyone was watching...i never knew i'd pick it up so fast again...i mean, it has been a year...this one guy showed me the cha cha and some tango moves in addition to the salsa...sooooo fun! it has definitely become an end of the year tradition for the girls...we've gone freshman & sophmore years to celebrate finals/classes being over...hahaha jen & hector...come on jen, didn't you want him to give us a ride home? lol creeeepy. oh, and "don't yell at boys in cars!" haha i love a2 when there are college kids still out everywhere at 2am lol
-laying out in the sun at the arb w/ julianne & talking about life...oh yea, and doing our theory take home exam lol
-bowling, eating, and movie-ing (lol) w/ goodnews : )
-our final night at the arb...julianne & i just being our crazy cool selves...starbucks before hand, the window/pple watching game lol i will save those video clips forever...and our final ride getting off at zeeb road exit for the summer...eating lunch on the bridge & promising to come back some day with our families...we are such saps, but it's all good...those are the moments i will treasure most from college...our drives and chats.... the vow to go skinny dipping in the river at the end of our senior year...hahaha
-ran into mona wood!!!! she was with angie at starbucks (ha yes i am there way too much).....haven't seen angela in a while....gosh, i haven't seen mona since middle school...and come to find out, we have a lot in common now...talked for quite a while as if we were close old friends...& we actually know some of each other's friends. ha, small world. so we decided to hang out together at said mutual friends' parties next year lol
oh, school. you do hold some pretty great memories...
