RU fiery?
So, we were fiery. Gotta say ladies, camping and building a raging fire and enjoying the beauty the Lord gave us outside away from everybody else was oh so amazing!! Personally, i think i clocked about an hour and a half of sleep, but miraculously went to two classes that morning? That sometimes doesn't happen on nights when i get like 6 hours...weird...If only i could be as studious as my subconscious...
But alas, as the year draws to a close, i have to say i've really learned a whole lot more this semester than i think i'd planned on learning. For one, as much as i complained about GCOM being the worst and most pointless subject on earth, i definitely have learned a great deal about communicating with people that does actually matter. The way you say things is a big deal. I think that's the summary of it. Oh and my professor brought his puppy to class the last 2 days, which was pretty cool.
But moreso than school subjects, i think God's taught me a whole lot this year about what it means to be still and silent in Him, and/or absolutely jumping up and down joyful in Him. Additionally, He's alerted me that in addition to loving all the people who don't know Him, it's a good idea to love my brothers and sisters too, even when they hurt me and when their doctrines are a little different. "Take out your stupid pointless rituals and rules and replace them with an outpouring of the overflowing love I'm giving you today, Emily." Mmk :-)
This paragraph is not going to start with a conjuction.
But this one is.
Goal for the week: no more starting or ending sentences with conjuctions or other awkward words that display uncertainty.
Other goal for the week: love people more. Stop harboring grudges just because my little baby heart got a little injured. God healed it once, and He can do it again.
Oh, and be in prayer for me and my group of loves this Saturday evening, we're doing the Global Night Commute for the Invisible Children. (http://www.invisiblechildren.com) Potentially dangerous? Weekend before finals? Inherent cold and probably sickness following? Count me in.
