To be taken with a huge grain of salt, but...

Matty was at SXSW a few days ago to promote "Space Station 76" (and ZOMG, I cannot wait to see that movie!), and during one of the many wonderful interviews he gave, he kinda sorta spilled the potential beans about the future of White Collar.

Here's the link to the interview vid: http://uinterview.com/news/matt-bomer-and-marisa-coughlan-talk-spaceRead more... )

white collar, vid, fingers crossed!, matt bomer

I'll take the optional because in my opinion it's a huge amount of Jeff Eastin's letting down his baby that's the cause of all this mess.

Sorry but I am twittering my fingers off for weeks now and this one sentence from Matty is the only vague info we get. It's unfair and the cast and the fans don't deserve this.

But Willie and Tim are really great, they retweet here and there and Willie always trys to calm the fans down. I think they know something but they must not tell, so they try to tell us something through the flower, if you know what I mean.

So, yes, I'll keep the hope up, keep my fingers crossed, they already hurt ;), and I'll keep twittering.

The voodoo doll, well... I'm not much into turturing something that is not the cause for my madness. But I would like to ask Jeff if he is now happy with his damn Graceland. We fans are definitely not :(.

Edit: I'm really glad that at least Matt gave a little sign of a go for season 6. It hurts to know that it will be the last one but we got that already, right?
I only hope that we'll get at least 8 to 13 eps because less eps would be kind of a farce. But I think we have to be happy with anything they'll give us after this debacle USAnetwork and FoxTV and whoever else is responsible for this not annuncing the renewal.

JE has the attention span of a fly, sadly. He's got a shiny new toy so he doesn't care about WC anymore.

The thing though is that it's less JE and more USA Network vs. Fox TV Studios (see below comment from Doc for more info). Both are decision makers in this. If they can't find common ground, the show is doomed. They both wanted to continue, but they wanted different things. Now it looks as if Fox prevailed (a season vs. a mini-series or TV movie) and will likely shoulder some of the costs (as USA wasn't willing to shell out money for an entire season).

Now we can only continue to wait and hope. :)
