I believe that people are born gay. Why would anyone choose a lifestyle that gets them harassed, bashed, "damned to hell" by some, and sometimes even killed. Who actually wants those things? Do heterosexuals choose to be straight or are they born straight? Maybe you believe that you made the conscious choice to be straight just as every other heterosexual , but to me, if that is the case, it seems odd that there would be people who would choose something so unaccepted. I have had close friendships with a number of homosexuals and I can tell you that they wouldn't wish on their worst enemy some of the things they have had to deal with because of their sexuality. If it was a choice, I don't believe they would've chosen homosexuality.
But like I said, we all have our opinions, and I respect yours, I just wanted to put mine out there, just as you did by posting it in your livejournal.
