Is it just me or does Lord Voldemort (a.k.a. Tom Riddle) seems like a version of Hitler. With his incessant hate toward "mudbloods" (those of none pure magic bloodlines or muggle born witchs and wizards) close to that of Hitlers toward the Jews. I thought it was his father... cause his father was a weak little thing that his mother beat on... or am I mixing up Hagrids and Lord Voldemorts families up....

Anyways I see it as being like the whole Wolrd War II for he didn't just go after the "Mudbloods" a.k.a. Jews but he also went after other strands of families throughout the wizarding world like Hitler with the Polish and many other countries.
