So, if anyone's still out there, I am here to deliver my recommended dosage of Veronica.
(I fear I've outgrown this journaling, though I will try to remain quasi-dutiful because I know I have friends and family members who still check in on me habitually.)
I've been commuting to work via Metro as of late and have had no shortage of catcalls, breast-ogling and innappropriate comments.
Last week a 75-year-old man peered deep into my plunging neckline, very much to my embarrassment.
I figure I was asking for it, but then again, it's summertime and I'm not about to go around wearing turtlenecks in 100 degree weather.
Last Wednesday, Lincoln and I spent some time at the beach. We saw a dead fish at the shoreline and buried it. Needless to say, we steered clear of the water. We walked down the man-made jetty and talked about insecurities. Before any of you can say anything, no, Lincoln and I are not dating. He happens to be happily involved with my doll of a roommate Vivian. Regardless, I went home slightly sunburned but content.
I sang at a wedding solo today, and have decided to start promoting myself as a soloist. That should make for more money, which is definately a good thing.
Well, I'm off to pluck my eyebrows.
Big day tomorrow. GRADUATION PARTY!
