So today I took the subway to my apartment from the Valley for the second time in the last two weeks. I'm sitting at work currently listening to Jethro Tull on some 60's British Invasion radio stream on iTunes. Go figure. Now it's Edison Lighthouse singing "Love Grows (Where my Rosemary Goes.) Anyway, I've been here since 10 AM, working.
After a furious fit of reading this last weekend I've managed to finish Gabriel Garcia Marquez's One Hundred Years of Solitude. I honestly must say it was the most time-consuming, laborious multi-generational saga I've ever read. It was decent, nothing too exciting. I'm convinced that it has to be a million times better in Spanish, so I will be undertaking that task sooner than later. Maybe.
I have to say I enjoyed the last half of the book as much as I enjoyed the first; the middle I could have done without. I believe I'll finish This Side of Paradise next and then Cold Mountain
Today I saw Lincoln and we decided to hold a Michael Pitt-a-thon tonight after saying George resembled him. On the slab: "Bully" "Hedwig and the Angry Inch" and "The Dreamers."
Orgasm!
Psst! Romy, Kat, you up for it? Telephonez-moi!
Anyway, tonight's the final blowout before the commencement of classes.
