Vacation week
Interesting vacation week to say the least. Well, actually that pretty much works well, so I guess it's just...to say. Anyways, i learned a couple things:
1. Lexi is the shit.
2. I'm not made to be a ski-jumper.
3. People are dumb.
1. Yea, so I think over the course of the vacation I spent close to three hours on the phone with Lexi. I haven't seen this girl in over 6 years but w/e, she's awesome. She might be comin up in June cause the south is weird, she gets out in May. Anyways, she pretty much kept me from dying from boredom over the course of the vacation.
2. The last day of skiing I decided to try a 10ft jump, like the ones you see dudes doing aerials off of. There was an instructor at the top of the hill before the jump, so I stopped, asked him how, and did what he said. But I ended up fucking up somewhere, he said I got like six ft up in the air, and i completely cleared the landing area and ended up with snow in my goggles, jacket, pants, hair...everywhere. My thumbs also got completely killed, but it was pretty fun on a whole.
3. I stopped for lunch at the mid-mountain restaurant, and you put your skis in a rack. Anyways, some dude stole my skis and left his. I had to take a lift to the top and then the gondola to the bottom. Fucking moron. I got replacement skis, but wtf. How dumb can you be. they weren't even set for his boot size, I hope he skid into a ditch or something.
We also hit a snowstorm of epic porportions on the way home, and a 4.5 hour trip turned into an 8 hour trip. It was...boring as fuck. Anyways, I'm home, and I'm out. Later peeps.
