He understands how Maya fell for Sylar so quickly; she craved that emotional connection, that quiet reassurance that everything would be okay. Just like I did, Mohinder thinks, and he turns his head away, ashamed.

Aww, poor Momo. I have to admit, I had no love whatsoever for Momo this season, but I'm growing softie, must be those damn holidays!

This is a wonderful pairing indeed. In a way they are connected by more then just Sylar, they both left their homes in search for something more, maybe together they can find it ;) Great work hun, I really enjoyed this!

SQUEE thank you!! :) :) I think they'd be wonderful together--they have a lot in common, and I think they'd get along fabulously on the show, even if they don't hook up. Lots of angsty fodder. XD

I can see this happening on the show! I like that they're both aching to go home and really don't have anything to stay for. But that could change of course ;)

I really enjoyed this. Although Mohinder has met almost if not all of the main characters already, he never had a connection with them, except for Sylar. I hope the writers show some great Mohinder and Maya interaction in Volume 3.

Thank you so much! That's the one thing that really struck me about Mohinder's character--he's isolated, despite being surrounded by just about everyone. And the way he's so overprotective of Molly, it makes me think that he's a little bit lonely, even if he doesn't show it. I hope he and Maya interact together in Volume 3, too. After the finale I figured Mohinder and Maya had lots to bond over! I liked how they're both lonely and find some sort of comfort with each other. Nicely done.

Oh man, me too! They're so alike, they're the strangers in a strange land with no one else, they're both almost painfully naive sometimes (her moreso, although I think the Sylar thing may have changed that), they've got the Sylar connection (him moreso since I think there was more genuine connection between those two), and they both just seem like genuinely good people, they totally deserve each other after all the crap they've gone through. And Molly would get a mommy to go with her two daddies. Everyone wins!

I totally agree about Mohinder--Sylar is the only person he ever really bonded with. I think he's a very lonely character, even if it's not explicit on the show. And you said it best: stranger in a strange land. I think he would latch on to Maya just as fiercely as he does to Molly. He'd be very protective of her, I think. And Maya would need that. I think she really needs someone to look out for her like Alejandro did.
