Aoi Bungaku: happy ending

So I just finished watching this anime series called Aoi Bungaku, which is a series of anime shorts based on famous Japanese novels. One of these shorts, Kokoro, is about a monk, K, who falls in love with his best friend's love interest. He ends up killing himself after he finds out she's going to marry his friend. K is this really scary, really imposing character when you first look at him, but inside he's shy and insecure and kind of a big softie. (very Tsundere haha). He starts to cry when he realizes she still loves him, before killing himself. All his suicide note reads is, "Winter this year was warm."
The episode is so freaking sad, I wanted to draw my own little happy ending for both of them. :( Awww.
