Yay fandoms? And Latin?

After spending a whole lot of time yesterday and today with my Nintendo DS, I finally beat Phoenix Wright, Ace Attorney: Trials and Tribulations. This would be the last game of the trilogy, and I have to say, that last case was epic. It managed to wrap up various themes from all three games. Plus, Edgeworth! Franziska! Yay for Phoenix/Edgeworth, right? And I was despairing of seeing any Franziska/Adrian-ness, seeing as how they weren't in the same case, but the ending made up for it. Yes, I ship it.

(I suppose now I should play Apollo Justice, but I will probably break for the new Layton game and SMT: Devil Survivor.)

There was more Inspector Lewis on tonight, which was good. I wasn't a fan of the actual plot, or anyone's attempts at German accents (though it wasn't, I think, as bad as the girl in the pilot episode who was supposed to be American), but there were some fun Lewis/Hathaway moments. I am looking forward to next Sunday's episode, "Life Born of Fire," in which we apparently find out about Hathaway's ambiguously-gay past. Or something. (Actually, I'm really more looking forward to Friday, which is when I am hopefully getting the DVD set. And can watch it then.)

Also today, I spent a few hours reading Latin with lysimache. I may not know any of my endings, but I am now done with Book 2 of the Cambridge Latin Course, which means I am inching closer and closer to the ability to read actual Latin. I've apparently only done what would correspond to a year in high school courses, though. Hmph.
