In hoc Gmail vinces
I know, my subject lines are only funny to me.
Anyway. I'm deciding it would be best to split my RL and fannish/LJ identities, so I decided that now would be a good time to use that Gmail account I've had for years. (The sineala@LJ address forwards to my yahoo account. If you know my real name, the other one is my first name dot my last name at gmail dot com, in the formula so many are following.)
And I never used Gmail before, because I didn't understand it! Where are the folders? It has no folders. But now I have seen the light. I am converted to Gmail! (I think this was where the subject line came in.) I understand the tags now! It has filters! Unlimited filters, unlike Yahoo which gives me 15! It automatically refreshes when I have email, just like an email client! The "tree" theme shows me my local weather in the background! My mother can gmail chat me from work when she's bored! Which is a lot of the time, apparently!
Now I understand the awesomeness of Google.
Also, I forgot to mention: antigone921, we got the CDs yesterday. Haven't listened to them yet. Thank you!
