Ads on Telemundo that would not work in English

Thing I have discovered while watching Los Plateados on Telemundo:

Many of the commercials on Telemundo are direct translations of the English-language ones -- the SW tie-in ads have Darth Vader saying "soy tu padre," for example -- but just now I saw one that would so not have worked in English.

It was about this guy, showing bits of everyday events -- mostly him dealing with bureaucracy. Every scene showed some clueless English-speaking person saying his name (I forget what it was) in some horrible awful mangly way. At the end, he's sitting around a table with his friends, and they crack open some beers (it was a beer ad), and they're all clapping him on the back, addressing him by name, which naturally they pronounce correctly. It ends with a shot of the brand of beer, and the slogan, which translated to "Welcome home."

Now there's an ad that couldn't be on English-language channels. Because manly beer-drinking English-speaking men have names everyone can pronounce.

I thought it was cool, anyway.
