Woke up this morning to the sound of my dad trying to get one of our cats, Snowball, out from behind the couch. He picked her up, and we found that she has an approximately two-inch long oval-shaped gaping wound on her stomach, that looks kind of greenish in places and nasty and like her skin was just missing. Eep eep ick. She wasn't complaining about it or anything; we have no idea how long it's been there. Wouldn't have known if he hadn't picked her up.

We've taken her to the vet, but they won't even get around to seeing her for a couple hours, as we didn't have an appointment. Eep. I hope she's okay.
