And it's time to watch the XF songvids!
A few years ago, eruthros sent me a Mulder/Krycek songvid she found that was done to Britney Spears' "Baby One More Time." I remember I watched it a couple times, and it confused the hell out of me. There were these two guys in suits, and then one guy was hitting something, and I couldn't tell what, and it was weird.
It's less weird now. In fact, it's rather a fun vid. There were of course punches used on occurrances of the line, "hit me, baby, one more time." The part of it responsible for most of my confusion then was that the punches were not timed to the words "hit me," but were instead timed to the beat at the end of that line, after which it cut away. This resulted in me (not knowing XF, not knowing that Mulder was hitting Krycek) not knowing what was going on, since it would be Mulder running up and hitting something, and then a cut. But now I know. And it's kind of a fun vid. I recommend it if you can still find it online -- it's one of Phoenix's.
And yeah, I borrowed my brother's DVDs again and watched "Sleepless," "Duane Barry," and "Ascension." So what if I get into fandoms years after everyone has gotten out of them? I'm having fun, dammit. And there's still fic to read that I haven't read because I never watched this show until now. And I can say nice things about Krycek

And the vidder list just started pointing out vids in various fandoms, and pointed out an M/K vid here, so I watched that, and it was decently good. I think I liked the other one better. And the Media Cannibals' XF vids, those I like. Most of what I can find online appears to be MSR, and the same sort of thing over and over again, and it's kind of boring. Maybe 'cause I haven't seen most of what they're taking clips from, and don't plan to.
But now I am going to bed.
