A mystery
Things I do not understand about dogs:
The dog's food and water are in the kitchen. After we moved somewhere with stairs, we started to keep a second bowl of water upstairs in the bedroom because why not. The dog has a clear preference for Upstairs Water. As far as I can determine, the water from the kitchen sink downstairs and the water from the bathroom sink upstairs are the same water. But the dog definitely likes Upstairs Water better.
Basically, dogs are weird.
