CDs! Whee!

Have spent yesterday and today listening to some of my new CDs on my new CD player. Wheeee.

I have discovered that my nice new My Brilliant Beast CD will play in my new CD player, but it won't let me skip forward or back to any tracks, although it plays fine. Very very weird.

I have been listening to Black Market Music on repeat. The bonus tracks are spiffy; I had not heard them before. Is "I Feel You" a cover or something? And is that the lead singer on the left of the picture in the liner? He's pretty.

And the Headstones greatest hits CD is much fun. I like how they printed all the lyrics, including the words to "Tweeter and the Monkey Man." I am slightly annoyed that only two songs from Teeth and Tissue showed up on it; the title track is one of my favorites. But you just have to like a CD that will let you listen to "Blonde and Blue," followed immediately by "Cemetery." Everybody should hear at least these two Headstones songs. Really. Go listen to them now.

I did not yet do my usual CD-player inaugurating activity, which is to listen to Moxy Fruvous' "Gulf War Song" on headphones. Perhaps I will do that now.

Also, I am liking Ultraviolet very much so far, and I've only watched the first two episodes. I like how the vampires explode when staked, and make a big flaming mess. Wheee. I also like how everybody in it has very British teeth.

music: placebo, music, fandom: ultraviolet, music: moxy fruvous
