My hope for White Ribbon Day is that you, dear friendlist, will think.

It doesn't take much to be aware of the world you live in and try to do something to change it for the better. Even if you only make a small change in attitude or action, it's still a change and can lead to something greater.
Simply saying, "Hold on, that's not cool," is simple but says so much.
Choosing an alternative option hits companies where it hurts -- their bottom line.
But saying nothing? Doing nothing?
Perpetuates the cycle, gives tacit approval for it to continue and makes you complicit in wrongs that are done.
If you agree? Do something. Sign a petition, choose another brand, go out and be awesome.
If you find this confronting? Good. A wake up call is good for the soul. It's good to learn new things.
