Oh, computer... how I love *coughhatecough* thee...
Hey everyone.
Sorry I haven't gotten a chance to update, but mostly this is because my game has been crashing randomly and frequently, and honestly, I have no idea why. I've been doing a little research on the Wiki, but no luck figuring out whats wrong yet.
Basically, it either crashes and informs me that it has crashed with the little window pop-up, but sometimes it likes to pull a sneak attack, just close down completely, and just return to the desktop with no crash warning pop-up. I've been trying and trying to get through CAS to make my sim for my new legacy, but it seems to love to crash right when I think I'm just about done. Then, on the off chance I do make it through CAS, I never seem to make it that long into playing time, because, what do ya know, it crashes.
Lovely.
By then, I give up and go find other things to do around the house. I really hate it because just when I think things are looking up (new hhd, fresh and clean, new game disk, faster loading times, useless, crap files all gone), this happens. It makes the game not enjoyable to even play (if that's what you even can call it...)
Hopefully soon we can get something to replace this computer. I've been researching a lot more lately, so maybe I'll find something better soon. Honestly, I think it's just the age factor. Although the hhd is new, the rest of the tower is aged, so that might be the issue.
