Rocket Summer Concert #3
The highlights and lowlights of the concert yesterday:
~driving 2.5 hours to Grand Rapids and rockin out in the car
~crunchwraps!
~trying to find Cherry Street (and a place to park)
~the amish man from the first opening band (he was cool until he dissed rocket summer to mackenzie)
~farts in the crowd! (haha mallory)
~talking to and getting pics with the lead singer from the second opening band (what a cutie!)
~ambushing seth and talking to him for like two minutes, then he told us he'd be right back and never came...
~ASIAN PETE! (he was basically an asian version of pete from fall out boy. we never did get a pic with him...)
~mackenzie yelling "japanese brother!" from the crowd and bryce saying "is that you??" but then pretending like he didn't remember so that everyone would laugh. then after the show bryce was like "dude i was just playing i totally remember you!" then he apologized for making everyone laugh at mackenzie's expense.
~MALLORY AND I GETTING PICKED TO GO ONSTAGE TO SING WITH BRYCE! he picked mallory first and she was like "me?" and he was like "yeah, with the camera" (cuz she was taking pics the whole time) and then he picked me and people werent letting me through the crowd then i tripped on someone and everyone was waiting. then the stage came up to my shoulder practically so the bouncer was pissed cuz he had to help me up. it was slightly embarrassing cuz people were laughing...then after the show i apologized to bryce for taking so long and hes like "no, dont apologize! everyone thought it was cute, don't worry!"
~bryce acknowledging that mackenzie and i were the two most laughed at people in the crowd that night. thanks bryce.
oh well, at least it was very memorable. and bryce remembered us, so that was cool. and we all took lots of pics so once i get them developed i will post them. yay!
on a crappier note...this next week is definitely gonna suck. i can't believe chris is gonna be gone for four days and can't even have his cell phone. it's one thing to not be able to see him, but i can't even friggin TALK to him. ugh, just sitting through today not being able to see him kinda sucked...four days is gonna be torture. :/
ok time for some SNL. NOT excited to work tomorrow, or to say goodbye to chris for the week, or to start spring classes on monday. crap.
