christmas/new years/kate's wild adventures in PA

Christmas was quiet and family filled. I made a ton of cookies and my family ate them all. I got a coffee grinder (no, I don't have a coffee maker, but the gesture is appreciated) and a bunch of gift cards which was all I asked for anyway.

Then I made my way to the greawt wilderness of Pennsylvania, first with Maury, Jeb and Corey who probably thought I wasn't enjoying myself--but I was... immensely. I was just sitting back and watching them down juicy red and flipping out and listening to Rammstein, Heidi Klum, and Beyonce the way up. Then John came to pick me up, but before he whisked me away to the Olive Garden (no srsly, he took me to an Olive Garden) he chugged a juicy red. This, among many other things, makes me believe that John is, at his heart, from Lynchburg.

Pennsylvania was boring. Why lie. New Years was mostly avoiding taking shots with John's dad and cousins. His cousin Sarah kept trying to trick me into taking her out of her crib. She's a crafty one year old. Finally I had a white russian and fell fast asleep aside from the noise of neverhaveiever and a bunch of 19 year old boys drooling over British lady. Other than New Years festivalis, John and I watched comediens of comedy and went to Target and Wal-Mart multiple times. Then I went to Philadelphia and rode the bus for twelve hours and nearly threw up.

Now I am home and I have written a grand to-do list. Number one is get a haircut. Number two is get a job. Number three is find a place to put all my goddamned books. I'm going up to DC the weekend of the thirteenth, i believe, to pick up a car (!) and some stuff that I left in the room.
