Today was one of those days when I realize just how tough my dad's job can be sometimes. He was one of the deputies that responded to a house fire in Immokalee this morning. By the time they got there the house was already englufed in flames. They tried to rescue those inside but four were unfortunantly killed. Three of those four were children. I can't imagine going in to save children to find that they are too late. My father spent all of the early morning (supposed to come home at 3am instead coming home around 9am) at the house. My heart goes out to the family (of which the remaining 6 in the house were all hospitalized) and all the deputies and personal who have to deal with tragedies like that every day and yet must remain strong.
