Okay, it's 2:19 right now, and im just waiting for it to be time for me to go to work. I got a new schedual this past week and now i have friday and saturday of. which i guess is better but just about the same. Work is easy.
I decided i should prolly read a book, I'm still thinking of which one to read, I bought Great Expectations by Charles Dickens and i started to read it and i will prolly finish. It was 5 dollars at barnes and noble so i thought to myself it was a great bargin and i ran with it. not very far though just to the check out line then i gave the man a 6 dollars and he gave me change. They call the little boy Pip instead of whatever the movie says his name is. And also pips sister sounds extra mean in the book. She beats on pip and joe. And also in the movie this actor that plays the sister is attractive. In the book it says that she is not an attractive character at all. But the way i see when someone says that a person is not pretty or not an attractive charater it could mean many things. Like for example, in the movie it was evident that "pip's" siter was a whore, in my eyes, whores arnt very attractive at all no matter how physiclay apealing they may be. So it is just a different way of looking at beauty. But i think that dickens meant that she was unattractive in more than one way. Both by character and by her physical apperance. There are alot of differences, like Joe he is not a fisherman but instead a blacksmith in the book.
I have been noticing recently that Telivision is no longer appealing to me. Also i've there are certain movies that make me feel strange, many people dont pay attention to the concepts behind many movies and just notice the shell of the movie, the block buster bam and wam. It is now becoming rare that i watch a movie and feel good afterwards. A feel good movie is what i enjoy watching. I think that part of movies that make me feel strange would be the underlying vanity and consumerism involved, the lack of morals and the hummor that it brings to the table, when i should bring people to think and eventually worry about what our children are turning out to be. Many people dont realize this,. but our country was build on industry and not consumerism, as soon as we piss of enought people we will have to start to be like those aliens from Independence day or that movie V. they had to go do different planets to consume and once they were done consuming they left to the next planet. It is natural law that when one consumes they must also take means to replenish. If you think about it we are already being like those aliens, invading Iraq and all the middle east,. People will say that we went in for reasons that have morals involved,. and yes this is ture to a certain point. But anyone that says that oil want a major part of this war is blind. We are suppost to be a country of understanding and toleration of different ways of life. As americans we have no understaning of the middle easter faiths. Radical fundamentalists my ass, this is a name the media imposed on them so to make us belive that there is an urgent matter at play in a land far away and the BIG BROTHER NEEDED TO GET INVOLVED. Lets picture what the world would be like if the most powerful nation in the world a muslim state and a democratic state existed, if you think about it, the muslim state would proll leave freedom and christianty alone until there was something for them to gain. Then we would be call radicals for wanting to belive in aceptance and freedom of choice. Think about it. We are a bunch of hypocrites. And on top of that the western world is responsible for any changes in belifes that the middle east culture has had. And we think it to be good only because we were able to think of the cotton gin first and the production line.
