Okay,...
So i havent updated in a while now, I havent had much time with work and all. But life in my neck of the woods is good. I found a job that i enjoy waking up to go to every morning, its a very relaxed job, i make phone calls and greet customers all day. On top of that it pays good money, which is something that i will need for the next 6-9 months. I need to save as much money as i can so that I can go back to school in the fall.
Im getting married Feb 25th in Houston, to a very wonderful, and loving girl. I proposed to her early december and made plans on getting married in febuary. Some people may have thought it was a little fast, but Gina and I are confident that its a very good thing, seeing how we are in love and all, and how we truly cant bare being apart from each other.
In recent events: Last night i had a very fun sober time, after i got off from work i called my buddy ricky and my brother eddie so that they would join me to dinner at a local restaurant in town called jazz. They offer a delicious selection of cajun food. We started of with boiled crawfish, then i ordered the shrimp etouffee and finally for dessert i had key lime pie. It was all very pleasing except for the key lime pie, it was a little too sweet for my taste. After dinner we hung around to listen to rocky and moe, they play guitar.
I dont know if it was do to what I had for dinner or if it was due to all the Coca cola and cherry vanila dr pepper i had yesterday, but i couldnt get decent sleep last night. It also could have been to eddie's obsession with having the appartment at a blazing 80 degrees. But i finaly decided to get out of bed, turn the heater off, and take a cold shower, after that i went back to bed and almost didnt wake up on time for work.
I think i have decided to no longer drink to get drunk but rather drink to relax, I have found it much more enjoyable to come home an have one maybe two drinks while watching some television. I enjoy my beer/drink much more, and i wake up just fine the next morning. I have also decided to rid myself the habit of smoking, its been hard but soon i will be tabacco free.
That is it for now, until next time
regards
Fernie
