Long time no post, so its funny
I had Jury duty this morning. The first time in the 5 times I've called where I could attend. The first two times I was under 18. DC apparently didn't know and tried to call me in. The second two times I was away at college, good excuse! So this time I actually had to go in and wait for a few hours, to not be called to a trial. Just like I thought. Here are a few pictures from my morning adventure.
Note: It doesn't say "At hilarity" it says "A hilarity." And where it says "The Danger Room" means Alex's cd that he sent me.
Then I checked in and went to the "Juror Lounge." Very much like the waiting areas in the airport, there are lots of chairs in rows with people not sitting directly next to each other and trying to take up chairs with bags. There are tvs playing a random dumb 90's movie that you haven't heard of starring Sandra Bullock. The movie had the earliest forms of internet in it, it was hilarious! "Got to save this to a floppy disk!" I sat behind two women who had laptops and were trying to log on the internet. "My daughter typed up these instructions. ... It says I'm connected but where's the internet? Do I use Safari." As soon as I helped one of the ladies said, "I was just about to ask you because you look under 30. Internet savvy, right?"
But I wrote down some more thoughts after a bit...
