It's either that or those full body scanners that are rather revealing. If you click on the photo, there is a link that explains a little more.

It's unconstitutional and has changed all of my travel plans for the foreseeable future. I used to love flying and I was going to start letting my kidlet fly alone. Not anymore.

How do I explain this to my kid? "Well, honey, your options are go through that machine where they see through your clothes or let them pat you down and perhaps touch you places that anyone else would be prosecuted and placed on a list for touching."

When I worked for the TSA we always had patdowns in certain circumstances, but it was always swipes with the back of the hand over any sensitive areas. Now I'm reading they're full on squeezing places? I am really beside myself at these changes.

The House of Reps proposed something that stated these machines and patdowns would only be done if the metal detectors were set off and the reason couldn't be determined or other similar situations, but the Senate didn't act on it. That makes sense. If something's actually suspicious, then, yes, please check on it, but to just subject people to it? Not okay. Not even a little ok.

Even pilots and flight crew are uncomfortable with the procedures. http://staugustine.com/national-news/2010-11-14/new-tsa-pat-downs-rile-pilots-unnerve-passengers
